There are many ways you can help your child succeed in Spanish class even if you have no foreign language experience yourself.

Please stress to your  child that daily preparation and oral participation are essential to building a strong foundation for success in the course and advancement to the next level.

Your child has a Spanish  3-ring binder that contains lists of vocabulary words  in Spanish with their English translations. You can read them the English and have your child say or spell the Spanish to you.

You can also read the Spanish- they will have fun laughing at any pronunciation mistakes you may make:)

You can review flash cards with them.

Encourage them to see me for help. I can also arrange student tutors if needed.

Make sure they complete their homework. They will have an assignment nearly every day. You can check the homework page on this site to keep up to date.

Check the resources page on this web site.

As with all classes, your positive attitude about its importance goes a long way toward your child's success.
