My name is David Flynn and I teach all levels of Spanish at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School. I have19 years of experience teaching high school Spanish, with the last 12 at CGBHS. We currently offer four years of high school Spanish. This year, for the fifth time, we are offering Spanish IV as a zero-hour class.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1991 with a BSE. I majored in Spanish and  minored in Latin American Studies. In 2004, I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Computing from Cardinal Stritch University. I have also studied at the Cuauhnahuac Spanish Language Institute in Cuernavaca, Mexcio.

I am married and have a seven year old daughter named Helen who is going to 3rd grade this year!. My wife, Kris,  is a Foreign Language Chair and Spanish teacher in the Sheboygan Area School District.

In addition to conducting 15 student study tours we also enjoy traveling on our own. As a family we have traveled to Mexico, Peru,  and most recently Costa Rica .

The next student trip is planned for mid  June 2010. We have 6 students from Cedar Grove and 20 from Sheboygan North planning to go to Costa Rica. Check out the Itinerary on the Student Travel page.

As a family we enjoy being active outdoors, going for bike rides and skiing.
